Ali Norell is a psychic medium, healer and author of The Truth Inside (O Books, 2019), an account of her experiences during and after the death of her youngest daughter, Romy, in 2014.
Ali studied English and European Literature at the University of Warwick, an MA-level Creative Writing course at New Writing South in Brighton, speaks French, German and Italian and enjoyed a career in public relations. You might say that communication has been a thread that has run throughout her whole life, and she considers it a privilege to be able to communicate with Spirit.
Since childhood, Ali has had an awareness of ‘the Other’ and has dedicated herself to enhancing her skills over many years, including learning from several gifted mediums. She holds a Diploma in Healing from the College of Psychic Studies in London, and a Certificate in Humanistic Counselling from The Gestalt Centre. Ali’s approach to the use of her abilities is to marry them with practical guidance and dialogue, for the highest good.
Ali is committed to bringing spirit communication out of the shadows as a thing of positivity; to open dialogue about death and to offer the view that death is a transition, rather than the end. She calls this ‘bringing Spirit down to earth’.
By serving Spirit, sharing her abilities and writing and speaking about her experiences, she hopes to bring comfort to others who grieve and to show them that it is possible to live a life full of positivity and purpose following loss. This is the highest way we can honour our loved ones who have crossed.
Ali lives in Brighton, the San Francisco of the UK, with her husband, three children and three cats.
